Marry Me Chickpeas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/2 tsp salt
04 - 1/2 tsp oregano
05 - 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
06 - 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

→ Main Ingredients

07 - 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, roughly chopped
08 - 1 cup vegetable broth
09 - 2 (15-oz) cans chickpeas, drained

→ Finishing Ingredients

10 - 1 cup heavy cream
11 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan
12 - 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil

# Instructions:

01 - Heat butter, garlic, salt, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in large saute pan over medium heat. Cook about 2 minutes until garlic is fragrant.
02 - Stir in sun-dried tomatoes, vegetable broth, and chickpeas. Cook uncovered on medium for 5 minutes.
03 - Remove from heat. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan, and fresh basil. Serve warm with crusty bread.

02 - Can use half-and-half instead of cream
03 - Best served with bread for sauce
