No-Bake Chocolate Crunch Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 3 cups crispy rice cereal
02 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
03 - 1 cup peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)
04 - 1/2 cup maple syrup
05 - 1/4 cup coconut oil (or grass-fed butter)

# Instructions:

01 - Line an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, making sure to leave some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
02 - Add the crispy rice cereal to a large mixing bowl and set aside while you prepare the binding mixture.
03 - In a microwave-safe bowl or small pot on the stove, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Heat until everything is melted and smooth.
04 - Remove the chocolate mixture from heat and whisk until completely blended with no streaks remaining.
05 - Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the crispy rice cereal. Using a spatula, gently fold everything together until all the cereal is evenly coated.
06 - Pour the mixture into your lined baking dish and spread it out evenly, pressing down gently to create a compact layer.
07 - Place the dish in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least an hour, or until the bars are completely firm.
08 - Once firm, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles with a sharp knife and enjoy!
