Grandma's Apple Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6-7 medium apples, peeled and sliced.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
06 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour for crust.
07 - 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed.
08 - 1 teaspoon salt.
09 - 1/4 to 1/2 cup ice water.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F. Mix apples with sugar, flour, and spices.
02 - Cut butter into flour/salt until crumbly. Add ice water until dough forms.
03 - Split dough in half, wrap and refrigerate 30 minutes.
04 - Roll bottom crust, add filling, top with second crust. Crimp edges and cut vents.
05 - Cook 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool 30 minutes.

01 - Mix apple varieties for better flavor.
02 - Can sprinkle sugar on crust.
03 - Serve warm with ice cream.
