German Currywurst (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tbsp olive oil.
02 - 8 small bratwurst (or 4 large).
03 - 1 medium onion.
04 - 1 cup ketchup.
05 - 3 tbsp curry powder.
06 - 1/4 tsp black pepper.
07 - 1/2 tsp salt.
08 - 1 tsp cayenne or paprika powder.
09 - 1 tbsp honey.
10 - 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar.
11 - 1/4 cup water.
12 - Extra curry powder (for garnish).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil in large skillet.
02 - Cook bratwurst until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same pan, sauté onion until soft.
04 - Lower heat, add ketchup and spices.
05 - Add honey and vinegar, mix well.
06 - Pour in water, cook until sauce thickens.
07 - Plate sausages, top with sauce.
08 - Garnish with curry powder.
09 - Serve hot with fries or bread.
