Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Puree black beans in food processor until paste-like. Mix bean puree with eggs, oil, and vanilla extract in a large bowl.

In separate bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, salt, and coffee if using. Add to wet ingredients, then stir in chocolate chips.

Grease and line an 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with parchment. Pour batter in and bake 30-40 minutes until edges are cooked and center is mostly set.

Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting.
