Place frozen rolls on parchment-covered baking sheets, spaced apart. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise at room temperature until doubled, about 3-5 hours.

Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium heat. Halfway through, add butter, onion, and cabbage. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables are soft. Let cool slightly.

On floured surface, work each dough ball into a circle. Add filling to center, bring up edges and pinch to close. Roll gently to seal seams. Place seam-side down on parchment. Let rise 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Brush runzas with egg wash (egg mixed with milk). Bake 18-20 minutes until golden brown, rotating halfway through.
