Cotton Candy Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 egg.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 3 cups all-purpose flour.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1/2 cup cotton candy flavored bits.
09 - Pink food coloring.
10 - Cotton candy for topping (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - Line baking sheet with parchment.
03 - Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
04 - Mix in egg and vanilla.
05 - Whisk dry ingredients separately.
06 - Gradually add dry mix to wet.
07 - Fold in cotton candy bits.
08 - Add pink food coloring.
09 - Roll dough into balls.
10 - Place on baking sheet.
11 - Flatten slightly with fork.
12 - Bake 10-12 minutes until edges golden.
13 - Cool on sheet briefly.
14 - Transfer to cooling rack.
15 - Top with cotton candy if desired.
