In a blender, combine eggs, milk, and salt. Add flour and blend until smooth. Finally, blend in melted butter until mixture is frothy. Let batter rest 15 minutes while preheating oven.

Heat oven to 450°F. Position one rack in bottom third of oven and another at the top. Place popover pan on a baking sheet on lower rack for 2 minutes while preheating.

Remove hot pan and spray thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray, including wells and rim. Pour rested batter evenly into slots, filling almost to the top.

Bake at 450°F for 20 minutes without opening the oven door.

Reduce heat to 350°F (without opening door) and bake 10 more minutes until popovers are tall, popped over, and deep golden brown.

Remove from oven, pierce tops with a knife to release steam. Remove from pan, split open, and serve with butter.
