Easy Cherry Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 2 cups granulated sugar.
03 - 4 eggs.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - ¼ teaspoon almond extract.
06 - 3 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 1 teaspoon salt.
08 - 2 21-ounce cans cherry pie filling.
09 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
10 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
11 - ½ teaspoon almond extract.
12 - 2 tablespoons milk.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 9x13-inch baking pan with pan spray.
02 - Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla and almond extracts.
03 - Combine flour and salt, then mix into creamed mixture until combined.
04 - Spread 3 cups batter in pan. Top with cherry filling. Drop remaining batter in dollops over filling.
05 - Bake 35-40 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
06 - Whisk together powdered sugar, extracts and milk. Drizzle over cooled bars.

# Notes:

01 - Can use different pie fillings.
02 - If using 15x10 pan, reduce bake time to 30 minutes.
03 - Add glaze just before serving for best results.
