Cheesesteak Stromboli Fix (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Essentials

01 - 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
02 - 1 lb ground beef
03 - ½ tsp black pepper
04 - ½ onion, diced
05 - 1 (8-oz) bottle Parmesan-peppercorn dressing (save half for dipping)
06 - 1 (8-oz) package of shredded mozzarella
07 - 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
08 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
09 - 1 tsp salt
10 - 1 (13.8-oz) tube of refrigerated pizza crust

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Warm a big skillet on medium heat. Cook the ground beef, garlic, onion, and bell pepper until the meat turns brown and crumbles. Drain the grease, put it back on the heat, and mix in the salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
02 - Place the pizza dough on a greased rimmed baking sheet, stretching it into a rectangle. Put 1 cup of shredded mozzarella on top. Spread the beef mixture evenly over it, leaving about an inch of space along the edges. Add another cup of mozzarella and drizzle ¼ cup of the Parmesan-peppercorn dressing over the filling.
03 - Start from one longer side and roll the dough tightly into a log. Seal the edges by pinching, then place the roll seam-side down onto the baking sheet. Use a knife to create small slits across the top about an inch apart.
04 - Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden-brown. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing into pieces. Serve with the leftover Parmesan-peppercorn dressing for dipping.
