01 - 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
03 - ½ tsp garlic powder
04 - ½ tsp salt
05 - ¼ tsp black pepper
06 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

→ Biscuit Batter

07 - ½ cup Bisquick baking mix
08 - 1 cup whole milk
09 - 2 large eggs

→ Optional Toppings

10 - Diced tomatoes
11 - Pickles
12 - Ketchup
13 - Mustard

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Cook until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are soft and translucent, about 8–10 minutes. Drain off any excess fat.
03 - Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.
04 - Grease a 9-inch pie plate lightly with butter or cooking spray.
05 - Spoon the beef mixture evenly into the pie plate. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.
06 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until well combined and smooth.
07 - Pour the Bisquick batter evenly over the beef and cheese layers.
08 - Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
09 - Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Add optional toppings if desired.
