Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.

Add brown sugar, stir until bubbling. Cook 3-4 minutes without stirring.

Remove from heat. Add vanilla and baking soda.

Place pretzels in large bowl. Pour toffee over, toss to coat.

Spread on baking sheet in single layer.

Bake 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway.

Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
