Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

In a large bowl, combine the dry brownie mix, flour (if using), and a pinch of salt. Add the eggs, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract. Stir until a thick, sticky dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips and any other add-ins of your choice.

Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, form balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. The dough will be sticky, so you might need to lightly wet your hands or the scoop.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. The edges should be set, but the centers will still be soft. For a chewier cookie, don't overbake - they'll continue to firm up as they cool.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container.
