In a large bowl, combine 1/3 cup of the condensed French onion soup with ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly and shape into 6 oval patties.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown both sides of the patties. Drain any excess fat.

In a small bowl, mix flour with the remaining French onion soup until smooth. Stir in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder.
