Classic Homemade Meatloaf Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meatloaf Base

01 - 2 pounds ground beef (90% lean)
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
03 - 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 2½ tablespoons ketchup
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
07 - ⅔ cup milk
08 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
11 - Salt and pepper to taste
12 - 2 tablespoons meatloaf seasoning

→ Sweet Glaze

13 - ¾ cup ketchup
14 - 1½ teaspoons red wine vinegar
15 - 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
16 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
17 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
18 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 375°F.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients. Mix thoroughly until everything is well incorporated.
03 - Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, gently pressing to form an even loaf shape.
04 - Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes.
05 - While the meatloaf bakes, mix all glaze ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
06 - Remove meatloaf from oven, spread the glaze evenly over the top, and return to oven for 15-20 more minutes.
07 - Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with pan juices when serving.
