02 - 120 ml Alfredo sauce
03 - 120 g whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Dough and Assembly

08 - 400 g refrigerated pizza dough
09 - 1 large egg, beaten
10 - 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
11 - Flour, as needed for dusting

# Instructions:

01 - Set air fryer to 190°C and allow it to preheat for several minutes.
02 - In a medium bowl, mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly blended.
03 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough to 6 mm thickness. Cut dough into four equal squares.
04 - Spoon about 80 ml of the chicken Alfredo filling onto the center of each dough square.
05 - Fold each square over the filling to form a triangle. Press edges to seal and crimp perimeter with a fork.
06 - Brush tops of each calzone lightly with olive oil, then brush with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
07 - Arrange calzones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each. Air fry for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and thoroughly heated.
08 - Let the calzones rest for 1 minute before transferring to a plate and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Allow pizza dough to reach room temperature to ease handling and rolling.
02 - Avoid overfilling to prevent leakage during cooking.
03 - Ensure edges are well crimped for a proper seal and even browning.
04 - Enhance the filling with sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes for additional flavor.
05 - Try other cheese varieties such as provolone or parmesan for a twist.
06 - Add finely chopped jalapeños for a spicy variation.
