Taco Pinwheels With Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 packet taco seasoning mix
03 - 1/2 cup water
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 1/4 cup chopped green onions
06 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
07 - Sour cream or salsa for dipping

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease.
03 - Add taco seasoning and water. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Let cool slightly.
04 - Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to make one large rectangle.
05 - Spread the taco meat evenly over the dough. Sprinkle cheddar cheese and green onions over the meat.
06 - Starting from one long side, roll the dough up tightly into a log. Slice the log into about 1-inch thick pieces and place them flat on the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
08 - Serve warm with sour cream or salsa on the side if desired.
