Taco Bell Chalupas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2¼ cups flour.
02 - 1 tablespoon baking powder.
03 - ½ teaspoon salt.
04 - 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening.
05 - 1 cup milk.
06 - Oil for frying.
07 - 1 pound ground beef.
08 - 1 ounce taco seasoning.
09 - 1 Roma tomato, diced.
10 - ½ cup shredded lettuce.
11 - ½ cup shredded cheese.
12 - 1 tablespoon cilantro.
13 - ¼ cup salsa.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix flour, baking powder, salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk to form dough.
02 - Divide into 8 pieces, roll into thin 5-6 inch disks.
03 - Fry at 350°F, holding half in oil. Fold when brown to create taco shape.
04 - Brown beef, add taco seasoning.
05 - Fill shells with meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, cilantro and salsa.

# Notes:

01 - Adjust milk gradually for right dough consistency.
02 - Serve immediately while shells are crispy.
