→ For the Pasta

08 - 225g fettuccine or spaghetti
09 - 1 tablespoon butter
10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
11 - 5 garlic cloves, minced
12 - 60ml honey
13 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
14 - 1 tablespoon sriracha, adjust to taste
15 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
16 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste, optional
17 - 0.5 teaspoon chili flakes, adjust to taste
18 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
19 - Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped, for garnish
20 - Grated Parmesan, optional

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, olive oil, and black pepper. Add steak slices, toss thoroughly to coat evenly, and allow to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
02 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 120ml of pasta cooking water before draining. Set the cooked pasta aside.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil. Sear the marinated steak slices in batches to prevent overcrowding, cooking each side for 1 to 2 minutes until caramelized. Remove steak from the pan and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and olive oil, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, sriracha, vinegar, tomato paste if using, and chili flakes. Let the sauce simmer for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring to combine.
05 - Add drained pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. If the sauce appears too thick, incorporate a small amount of reserved pasta water. Return the seared steak to the pan, mixing thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
06 - Transfer to plates and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions. Top with grated Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - A splash of Worcestershire sauce can add extra depth to the sauce.
02 - For a creamy texture with added heat, stir in 2 tablespoons of cream cheese or a splash of heavy cream before serving.
03 - Pair with garlic bread or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
