Stuffed Cheesecake Fried Pies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped small
02 - ½ cup cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
04 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon
05 - 1 package refrigerated pie dough or biscuit dough
06 - Oil, for frying
07 - Optional: caramel sauce or powdered sugar for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and set aside.
02 - Roll out dough and cut into 4–6 inch circles.
03 - Spoon 1 teaspoon cheesecake filling and 1 tablespoon apple filling into each circle.
04 - Fold dough over to form a half-moon and crimp edges with a fork.
05 - Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet or fryer.
06 - Fry pies for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
07 - Drain on paper towels and top with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel.
