Heart Strawberry Shortbreads (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Shortbread

01 - 125g unsalted butter, room temperature
02 - 60g caster sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 180g plain flour
05 - ¼ teaspoon fine salt

→ Filling and Glaze

06 - 110g powdered icing sugar
07 - 2 tablespoon strawberry puree
08 - 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, melted
09 - 30ml milk
10 - 170g strawberry jam

# Instructions:

01 - Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour and salt, mix until dough comes together.
02 - Roll dough to ¼ inch thick, cut heart shapes. Chill 30 minutes.
03 - Bake at 170°C for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely.
04 - Mix icing sugar, strawberry puree, butter, and milk until smooth.
05 - Dip half the cookies in glaze. Spread jam on unglazed cookies, sandwich together.

01 - Can freeze undecorated cookies
02 - Dough must be chilled
03 - Keeps one week in container
