Strawberry Lemonade Vodka Cocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Simple Syrup

01 - 1 cup granulated sugar
02 - 1 cup water

→ For The Lemonade

03 - 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and quartered
04 - Freshly squeezed juice from 6-8 lemons (approximately 1.5 cups)
05 - 4 cups cold water
06 - Ice cubes, as needed
07 - Fresh lemon slices for garnish
08 - Fresh strawberries (extra), quartered, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
02 - Place 1 pound of strawberries and 0.5 cups of water in a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp.
03 - In a large pitcher, mix lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, strained strawberry puree, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
04 - Taste the lemonade and adjust if needed. If the flavor is too strong, add up to 2 additional cups of water.
05 - Fill the pitcher with ice cubes. Add thinly sliced lemons and quartered strawberries for garnish.
06 - Serve immediately over ice. Garnish with additional lemon slices and a fresh strawberry, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - A citrus juicer is recommended for extracting the maximum amount of juice from lemons.
02 - Quick-cooling the simple syrup in the freezer can save time.
