Thaw pastry if frozen. Preheat to 400°F. Let cream cheese and egg reach room temp.

Blend cream cheese, jam and food coloring until smooth.

Cut pastry into 3-inch hearts. Score smaller heart inside each, 1/3 inch from edge.

Spread cream cheese mixture and add strawberries inside scored area.

Brush edges with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar. Bake 14-15 minutes until golden.

Cool on rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
