Strawberry Cream Cheese Pastries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry (8.6 oz).
02 - 3 ounces strawberry cream cheese.
03 - 2 tablespoons strawberry jam.
04 - 1 drop pink food coloring.
05 - 2/3 cup diced strawberries.
06 - 1 large egg.
07 - 1 tablespoon water.
08 - Sparkling sugar.
09 - Powdered sugar for dusting.

# Instructions:

01 - Thaw pastry if frozen. Preheat to 400°F. Let cream cheese and egg reach room temp.
02 - Blend cream cheese, jam and food coloring until smooth.
03 - Cut pastry into 3-inch hearts. Score smaller heart inside each, 1/3 inch from edge.
04 - Spread cream cheese mixture and add strawberries inside scored area.
05 - Brush edges with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar. Bake 14-15 minutes until golden.
06 - Cool on rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

02 - Can use other fruits with matching jam.
