Spicy Cajun Chicken Linguine (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
02 - 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
03 - 12 oz linguine pasta
04 - 2 tbsp olive oil
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 2 cups heavy cream
07 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 1 tsp paprika
09 - 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
10 - Salt and black pepper to taste
11 - 2 tbsp chopped parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat well.
03 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
05 - Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer.
06 - Stir in Parmesan cheese, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
07 - Add salt and pepper to taste.
08 - Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the drained linguine. Toss everything together to coat well in the creamy sauce.
09 - Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
10 - Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.
