Easy Southern Pimento Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese Base

01 - 8 ounces smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
02 - 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
03 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature

→ Other Ingredients

04 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
05 - 8 ounces pimentos (or chopped roasted red peppers)
06 - 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
07 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
08 - Cayenne pepper to taste
09 - 2 teaspoons dried parsley (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Put all ingredients in a big bowl (except cayenne pepper).
02 - Mix with a spoon or with an electric mixer until smooth or until you get the consistency you like. Add a dash of cayenne pepper to taste.
03 - Refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving or up to 24 hours. Sprinkle with dried parsley if desired.

01 - Can be used as a spread or dip
02 - Great on sandwiches, burgers, or baked potatoes
03 - Freshly shredded cheese works best
