Southern Creamy Bow Tie Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 oz (340g) bow tie pasta (farfalle)
02 - 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
03 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
04 - 2 tablespoons butter
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 cup heavy cream
08 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
09 - ½ cup chicken broth or seafood stock
10 - ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
11 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
12 - Fresh parsley, for garnish
13 - Lemon wedges, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes, scraping the pan.
04 - Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and smoked paprika. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
05 - Return the shrimp to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
06 - Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve hot.
