# Ingredients:

→ Sloppy Joe Filling

01 - 450g ground beef
02 - 1/2 small onion, finely diced
03 - 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 120ml ketchup
06 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
07 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
09 - 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
10 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

11 - 8 slices thick white bread
12 - 200g shredded sharp cheddar cheese
13 - 4 tablespoons butter, softened

# Instructions:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until thoroughly browned. Drain excess fat.
02 - Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the beef. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3–4 minutes until softened.
03 - Incorporate ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
04 - Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
05 - Arrange 4 slices of bread, buttered side down, on a clean surface. Layer each with half the cheese, a generous spoonful of Sloppy Joe filling, followed by remaining cheese. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
06 - Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat. Cook sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side, gently pressing, until the bread is golden and cheese melts.
07 - Slice sandwiches and serve while hot.

# Notes:

01 - For a spicier option, add sliced jalapeños or substitute Pepper Jack cheese.
02 - Serve with pickles, coleslaw, fries, or a crisp salad for balance.
