01 - 1 pound bulk pork sausage, at room temperature
02 - 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
03 - 1 pound shredded cheddar cheese, cold

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Add the room-temperature sausage and Bisquick to a large bowl. Use your hands to mix until mostly combined.
03 - Add half the shredded cheddar cheese and knead it in. Follow with the remaining cheese and mix until a cohesive mixture forms.
04 - Form the mixture into walnut-sized balls and place them about 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
05 - Bake the sausage balls in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until browned on the bottom and cooked through.
06 - For neater sausage balls, refrigerate them for 30 minutes after forming and before baking.

01 - Ensure the sausage is at room temperature for easy mixing and the cheese is cold to prevent excessive melting during baking.
02 - Using store-bought shredded cheese with anti-caking agents is recommended for this recipe as it prevents the cheese from melting out of the sausage balls too quickly.
