Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add the room-temperature sausage and Bisquick to a large bowl. Use your hands to mix until mostly combined.

Add half the shredded cheddar cheese and knead it in. Follow with the remaining cheese and mix until a cohesive mixture forms.

Form the mixture into walnut-sized balls and place them about 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.

Bake the sausage balls in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until browned on the bottom and cooked through.

For neater sausage balls, refrigerate them for 30 minutes after forming and before baking.
