Salmon Tarte Soleil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 packets ready-rolled puff pastry
02 - 2/3 cup cream cheese
03 - 6 ounces smoked salmon

→ Seasonings

04 - 1 shallot, diced
05 - 16 chive sprigs
06 - ¼ tsp black pepper

→ Topping

07 - 1 egg yolk
08 - 1 tbsp milk
09 - 1 tbsp poppy seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Mix cream cheese with shallot, chives, and pepper. Cut pastry into 12-inch circles.
02 - Spread filling on first circle, top with salmon. Cover with second circle.
03 - Cut 16 equal strips from center, twist each strand. Make steam hole in center.
04 - Brush with egg wash, sprinkle poppy seeds. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes until golden.
