Norwegian Porridge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 quart whole milk.
02 - ¾ cup all-purpose flour.
03 - ¼ cup granulated sugar.
04 - ⅛ teaspoon Morton kosher salt.
05 - ½ cup salted butter, plus more for serving.
06 - Cinnamon-sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat milk to 195°F in heavy-bottomed saucepan, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
02 - Whisk flour, sugar, and salt together.
03 - Gently melt butter over medium heat.
04 - Mix flour mixture into melted butter to form paste.
05 - Add paste to hot milk, stir until boiling. Reduce heat, cook 5 minutes until thickened.
06 - Spoon into bowls, top with melted butter and cinnamon-sugar.
