Pizzagna Italian Fusion Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Filling

01 - 500g ground beef or mixed ground meat
02 - 200g pepperoni or salami slices
03 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 400ml tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
06 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
07 - 1 tsp dried oregano
08 - Salt and black pepper to taste

→ For Assembling

09 - 6–8 lasagna sheets (pre-cooked or fresh)
10 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
11 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 - ½ cup ricotta or cream cheese (optional)
13 - Fresh basil for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a little oil in a skillet. Sauté onions and garlic until soft. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
02 - Grease a baking dish lightly. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Layer lasagna sheets, more meat sauce, pepperoni or salami slices, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Add a few dollops of ricotta if using. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
03 - Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
04 - Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot. Enjoy the perfect mix of pizza and lasagna flavors!
