Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 500 g ground beef
02 - 1 green bell pepper, diced
03 - 1 onion, diced
04 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
05 - 200 ml beef broth
06 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 150 g cream cheese or melting cheese
08 - 4 slices provolone or Gouda cheese
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - 4 burger buns or sandwich rolls

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until crumbled. Drain any excess fat.
02 - Add the diced bell pepper, onion, and chopped garlic to the beef. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are soft.
03 - Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce slightly.
04 - Stir in the cream cheese or melting cheese until the mixture is creamy and well combined. Remove the skillet from heat.
05 - Generously spread the mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns. Top each with a slice of provolone or Gouda cheese and place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
06 - Serve warm. For extra flavor, optionally bake the assembled sandwiches in the oven until the cheese melts.

# Notes:

01 - You can bake the filled buns briefly in the oven to melt the cheese further and add a crispy texture to the bread.
