Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 110g unsalted butter, room temperature
02 - 110g light brown sugar
03 - 100g granulated sugar
04 - 100g peanut butter
05 - 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

07 - 250g plain flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Mix-ins

10 - 150g dark chocolate 70%, chopped
11 - 75g milk chocolate chips
12 - 20g pretzels

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 23cm square pan with parchment, leaving overhang.
02 - Cream butter and sugars 2-3 minutes. Beat in eggs, peanut butter, and vanilla.
03 - Sift in flour and baking soda. Add salt and most chocolate. Mix until just combined.
04 - Press dough into pan using moistened fingers. Top with remaining chocolate and pretzels.
05 - Bake 20-25 minutes until lightly golden but still gooey inside. Sprinkle with sea salt.
