Fluffy Golden Nun's Puffs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
02 - 1 cup milk
03 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 4 eggs
05 - 1/2-1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for the dough)
06 - Sugar, for sprinkling on top
07 - Honey, for serving (optional)
08 - Other serving options: whipped cream, fresh fruit, or berries

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a regular-size muffin pan with oil, including the inside and the rim.
02 - In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Add the milk and bring to a low boil.
03 - Add the flour all at once and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon over low heat until the dough forms a cohesive ball.
04 - Cool the dough for 5 minutes.
05 - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly with a wooden spoon after each addition until the dough becomes smooth.
06 - Divide the dough evenly among the prepared muffin cups and sprinkle the top of each with sugar.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until puffy and golden brown.
08 - Serve warm with a drizzle of honey, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - The original recipe doesn't include sugar in the dough. Adding sugar on top, or serving with sweet condiments, provides enough sweetness.
02 - Optional sweeteners include honey, sweetened condensed milk, dulce de leche, caramel, or whipped cream.
03 - You may add 1/2-1 tablespoon sugar to the dough for enhanced sweetness.
