Jalapeño Cheese Grits

# Ingredients:

2/3 cup instant grits

2 1/2 cups water

2/3 cup heavy cream
→ Add-ins

1 tbsp butter

2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste
# Instructions:

Sauté diced jalapeños in butter until softened, 2-3 minutes.

Add water and cream, bring to boil.
03 -
Stir in grits and cheese. Simmer 5-7 minutes until tender.
04 -
Season with salt and pepper. Top with extra cheese and jalapeños.
