Jalapeño Cheese Grits (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2/3 cup instant grits
02 - 2 1/2 cups water
03 - 2/3 cup heavy cream

→ Add-ins

04 - 1 tbsp butter
05 - 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced
06 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
07 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté diced jalapeños in butter until softened, 2-3 minutes.
02 - Add water and cream, bring to boil.
03 - Stir in grits and cheese. Simmer 5-7 minutes until tender.
04 - Season with salt and pepper. Top with extra cheese and jalapeños.
