Quick Honey Garlic Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
03 - 4 tablespoons honey (or sugar-free maple syrup for keto/low carb)
04 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce (use gluten-free if needed)
05 - 1½ pounds jumbo shrimp, deveined, shell off, tail on or off

→ Optional Garnishes

06 - 1 lime, juiced
07 - 1-2 tablespoons chopped green onions
08 - 1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds
09 - ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes or hot sauce (for spice)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of the butter and let it melt completely.
02 - Add garlic, soy sauce, and honey to the melted butter. Swirl the pan occasionally until sauce slightly thickens, about 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl.
03 - Add half of the shrimp to the pan, cook for about 2 minutes, flip, and cook 1-2 minutes more until pink and curled into a C-shape. Transfer to a plate.
04 - Melt remaining butter and cook the rest of the shrimp until done. Return first batch to the pan and stir in the reserved sauce until well combined.
05 - If desired, squeeze fresh lime juice over the shrimp and garnish with chopped green onions and/or sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Can be served as an appetizer (leave tails on) or main dish (remove tails)
02 - Pairs well with rice, cauliflower rice, noodles, pasta, steamed veggies, bread, or tortillas
03 - For keto/low carb version, use sugar-free maple syrup or honey substitute
04 - Stores in the fridge for up to 3 days or freezer for up to 2 months
