Easy Cream Puffs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup water.
02 - ½ cup salted butter.
03 - ⅛ tsp salt.
04 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
05 - 4 eggs.
06 - 3.5 oz vanilla instant pudding.
07 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
08 - 1 tsp almond extract.
09 - 1 & ¼ cups milk.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat water, butter, and salt until boiling in a pan.
02 - Remove from heat, stir in flour until it forms a ball.
03 - Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
04 - Heat oven to 400°F.
05 - Drop heaping spoonfuls onto greased or lined baking sheet.
06 - Bake 35-40 minutes until golden.
07 - Leave in turned-off oven for 15 minutes.
08 - Cool on wire rack.
09 - Whip cream until fluffy (3-4 minutes).
10 - Make pudding with 1¼ cups milk.
11 - Mix pudding, whipped cream, and almond extract.
12 - Cut puffs in half, fill with cream mixture.

# Notes:

01 - Let shells cool completely before filling.
02 - Puffs are best eaten the same day but unfilled shells can be stored in an airtight container.
