Holiday Pecan Pie Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dip Base

01 - 225 g cream cheese, softened
02 - 60 g unsalted butter, softened
03 - 100 g brown sugar, packed
04 - 80 ml maple syrup or honey
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 150 g pecans, chopped and toasted

→ For Serving

07 - Graham crackers
08 - Vanilla wafers
09 - Shortbread cookies
10 - Apple slices or pear slices

# Instructions:

01 - In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast chopped pecans for 3–4 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
02 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, unsalted butter, and brown sugar together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
03 - Mix in maple syrup (or honey) and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
04 - Gently fold most of the toasted pecans into the dip, reserving a small amount for garnish.
05 - Refrigerate for 30 minutes if a firmer consistency is desired, or proceed to serving.
06 - Transfer dip to a serving bowl, garnish with reserved pecans, and accompany with graham crackers, cookies, or fresh fruit.

# Notes:

01 - Warm in the microwave for 20 seconds before serving for a gooey texture.
02 - Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for enhanced holiday flavor.
03 - Walnuts can be used as an alternative to pecans.
