Heart Shaped Potstickers for Valentine's (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Potsticker Filling

01 - 1 pound ground pork or chicken
02 - 1/2 cup purple cabbage, minced
03 - 4 green onions, white part only, sliced thinly
04 - 1 egg
05 - 2 teaspoons soy sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon seasoned rice wine vinegar
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
09 - 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
10 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
11 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

→ Dipping Sauce

12 - 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
13 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
14 - 2 green onions, green part only, sliced thinly
15 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
16 - 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
17 - 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
18 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

→ Assembly and Cooking

19 - 50 wonton wrappers
20 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil
21 - 1/2 teaspoon butter
22 - Water as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Combine all dipping sauce ingredients in a bowl, mix well and set aside
02 - Mix ground meat, cabbage, white parts of green onions, egg, soy sauce, vinegar, and all seasonings in a bowl until well combined
03 - Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut wonton wrappers. Keep covered with damp paper towel while working
04 - Moisten edges of heart-shaped wrapper, add filling, top with second wrapper and seal edges. Keep completed potstickers covered and in single layer
05 - Heat oil and butter in large skillet. Add potstickers, then water, cover and cook 3-5 minutes. Increase heat and brown both sides
06 - Serve on bed of sliced red cabbage, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, alongside dipping sauce

# Notes:

01 - Keep uncooked potstickers covered with damp paper towel to prevent drying
02 - Don't stack uncooked potstickers as they will stick together
03 - Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan
