Deep Hamburger Sausage Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pie Crust

01 - 1 box Pillsbury ready bake pie crust (contains 2 rolled pie crusts)

→ Filling

02 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 pound ground beef
04 - 1/2 pound Italian sausage (optional)
05 - 1 cup pepperoni slices
06 - 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce or marinara sauce
07 - 1 cup shredded cheddar or provolone cheese
08 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
09 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
11 - 3 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing top crust)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
02 - Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
03 - Roll out the dough to fit a deep-dish pie pan or a deep skillet. Layer the bottom with half of the mozzarella cheese. Add a layer of cooked ground beef, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. Pour the pizza sauce evenly over the meat and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Top with the remaining cheese and another layer of pepperoni slices. Add the remaining crust on top and brush with melted butter.
04 - Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
