Grilled Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices bread, any preferred type such as white or whole wheat
02 - 2 tablespoons peanut butter, creamy or chunky
03 - 1 ripe banana
04 - 1–2 tablespoons butter for grilling

→ Optional Additions

05 - honey, to drizzle
06 - ground cinnamon, to sprinkle
07 - chocolate chips, as desired

# Instructions:

01 - Peel the banana and slice it into thin, even rounds.
02 - Evenly spread approximately 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on one slice of bread.
03 - Arrange the banana slices over the peanut butter-covered bread for an even layer.
04 - If desired, drizzle honey, sprinkle cinnamon, or scatter chocolate chips over the banana slices.
05 - Place the second slice of bread on top to enclose the filling.
06 - Spread a thin layer of butter on the outside surfaces of both bread slices.
07 - Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula until the bread is golden and crisp.
08 - Remove the sandwich from heat. Cut in half and serve warm.
