Glazed Buttermilk Beignets (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast.
02 - ¾ cup warm water.
03 - ¼ cup sugar.
04 - ½ cup buttermilk.
05 - 1 egg.
06 - 3½ cups flour.
07 - 2 tablespoons melted butter.
08 - Oil for frying.
09 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
10 - 2-3 tablespoons milk.
11 - 1 teaspoon vanilla.

# Instructions:

01 - Activate yeast in warm water with sugar. Mix in buttermilk, egg, butter and flour. Rise 1 hour.
02 - Roll dough ½-inch thick, cut into squares.
03 - Fry at 350°F until golden, 1-2 minutes per side.
04 - Mix glaze ingredients. Dip warm beignets.
