Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 450 g ground beef (80/20 or lean)
02 - 1 small onion, finely diced
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 15 ml ketchup
05 - 15 ml mustard (yellow or Dijon)
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste
07 - 120 g shredded cheddar cheese or cheese cubes
08 - Optional: diced pickles or cooked bacon

→ Dough

09 - 450 g refrigerated biscuit dough (1 can, 454 g) or 450 g pizza dough

→ Garlic Parmesan Butter Topping

10 - 60 g unsalted butter, melted
11 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
12 - 15 ml chopped fresh parsley or 5 g dried
13 - 25 g grated parmesan cheese
14 - Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning

# Instructions:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, sauté ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned and onion is soft, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper; stir and cook for 1–2 more minutes. Remove from heat and cool briefly. Mix in shredded cheddar or reserve cheese cubes for stuffing.
02 - If using biscuit dough, separate and flatten each piece into a 10–12 cm circle using hands or a rolling pin. If using pizza dough, divide into 10–12 even pieces and roll each into a small circle.
03 - Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto the center of each dough circle. Add a sprinkle or cube of cheese. Fold dough edges over the filling and pinch to seal securely into a ball. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
04 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Bake the dough balls for 18–20 minutes until golden brown and risen.
05 - While baking, combine melted butter with minced garlic, parsley, and parmesan in a bowl. Add Italian seasoning if desired.
06 - Once baked, immediately brush the warm bombs with garlic parmesan butter. Sprinkle with additional parmesan if desired and serve warm with preferred dipping sauces.

# Notes:

01 - Incorporate cooked bacon or diced pickles for additional flavour. Substitute cheddar with pepper jack or mozzarella for variety. Prepare in advance and reheat in the oven or air fryer for optimal texture.
