Preheat oven to 200°C or prepare grill over medium heat. Pat dry salmon fillets with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix until well blended.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook undisturbed for approximately 4 minutes until golden brown.

Gently flip salmon fillets. Pour garlic butter mixture evenly over the fillets and continue cooking for 4 minutes or until just cooked through.

Transfer salmon to serving plates and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
