Filipino Yema Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 10 ounces condensed milk
03 - 3 large egg yolks
04 - Pinch of salt
05 - Sugar for coating
06 - Oil or baking spray for greasing

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in a pan on low heat.
02 - Add condensed milk and stir until combined.
03 - Add egg yolks and a pinch of salt. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens significantly, about 20 minutes.
04 - Transfer the mixture onto a slightly greased plate or clean surface. Allow it to cool completely.
05 - Scoop a teaspoon of the yema mixture and shape it into a ball. Coat each ball with sugar and serve.

# Notes:

01 - To make special yema, you can add chopped nuts to the mixture.
02 - Grease your hands and tools when forming the yema balls to prevent sticking.
