Creamy Pepper Jack Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb chicken sausage, sliced
02 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

→ Pasta

03 - 12 oz rotini or penne pasta

→ Liquid Ingredients

04 - 2 cups chicken broth
05 - 1 cup heavy cream

→ Cheeses

06 - 1 1/2 cups shredded Pepper Jack cheese
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Seasonings and Flavorings

08 - 1 tbsp olive oil
09 - 1 small onion, diced
10 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
12 - Salt and pepper to taste

13 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
02 - In the same skillet, add the diced chicken breasts, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
03 - Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
04 - Once the chicken is cooked, return the sausage to the skillet. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
05 - Stir in Pepper Jack cheese and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Add cooked pasta and toss to combine.
06 - Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
