In a small saucepan, heat the milk until it just begins to steam without boiling. Add the Earl Grey tea and lavender. Steep for 5 minutes and then strain to remove tea leaves and lavender. Allow the milk to cool completely.

In a blender, combine the cooled tea-infused milk, vanilla ice cream, honey, and fresh orange juice. Blend on high speed until the mixture is creamy and smooth.

Pour the milkshake into glasses. Garnish with fresh orange slices and a sprinkle of lavender buds, if desired. Serve immediately.
