05 - 1 cup beef broth, low-sodium preferred
06 - 1/4 cup soy sauce, or tamari for gluten-free
07 - 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
08 - 3 tbsp brown sugar, adjust to taste
09 - 2 tbsp tomato paste

15 - 1 cup baby carrots
16 - 1 cup sliced mushrooms

# Instructions:

01 - Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper. Optionally, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak bites for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. This step adds extra flavor but can be skipped for convenience.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, tomato paste, garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
