Crispy Air Fryer Wraps (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 450 grams ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
03 - 4 slices American cheese
04 - 120 ml dill pickle slices

→ Seasoning

05 - 5 grams salt
06 - 2.5 grams black pepper
07 - 2.5 grams garlic powder

→ Sauces & Fats

08 - 60 ml mayonnaise
09 - 30 ml ketchup
10 - 30 grams salted butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces as it browns. Season thoroughly with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Continue cooking until no pink remains and the beef is fully browned.
02 - Stack the flour tortillas on a microwave-safe plate, cover them with a damp paper towel, and microwave for 20 seconds to warm and increase their pliability.
03 - Lay a warmed tortilla flat. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise across its center, followed by a stripe of ketchup. Arrange 4 dill pickle slices evenly over the sauces, then top with a slice of American cheese and a generous 120 ml portion of the seasoned ground beef.
04 - Fold the sides of the tortilla inward over the filling, then tightly roll the tortilla from the bottom upwards to completely enclose the ingredients. Place the finished wrap seam-side down on a clean plate.
05 - Melt the salted butter and generously brush it over the entire surface of each assembled wrap.
06 - Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (380°F). Carefully place the buttered wraps seam-side down into the air fryer basket, ensuring there is adequate space between each wrap for even cooking.
07 - Cook the wraps for 5 minutes, or until their exteriors are beautifully golden brown and crispy.
08 - Allow the cooked wraps to rest for 1 minute before handling and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal rolling, ensure you use fresh, soft tortillas. Check expiration dates and select brands known for their flexibility.
02 - To prevent the tortillas from becoming soggy during assembly, allow the cooked beef filling to cool slightly before use.
03 - Consider using ground turkey or plant-based crumbles as a lighter or vegetarian alternative to ground beef.
04 - Feel free to substitute American cheese with cheddar, pepper jack, or your preferred cheese variety.
05 - These wraps pair wonderfully with sweet potato fries, coleslaw, spicy mayonnaise, or an additional serving of burger sauce.
06 - Store any leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer for approximately 3 minutes to restore their crispiness.
07 - For longer storage, individually wrap and freeze the cooked wraps for up to 3 months. When cooking from frozen, add a few extra minutes to the air frying time.
