Creamy Spinach Salmon Easy Baked (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salmon

01 - 2–3 fresh salmon fillets
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
06 - 1 lemon, sliced, for garnish

→ Creamy Spinach Sauce

07 - 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
08 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
09 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
10 - 120 ml heavy cream
11 - 25 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
12 - Salt, to taste
13 - Black pepper, to taste
14 - Pinch ground nutmeg (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
03 - While salmon bakes, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic. Add fresh spinach, cooking for 2–3 minutes until wilted.
04 - Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Add grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg if desired. Cook gently, stirring, until sauce thickens slightly.
05 - Arrange baked salmon fillets on serving plates. Spoon creamy spinach sauce generously over salmon. Garnish with lemon slices and extra Parmesan as desired.

# Notes:

01 - Bake salmon only until just cooked through to prevent drying; internal temperature should reach 63°C. The spinach sauce can be made ahead and gently reheated. For added flavor, incorporate mushrooms or cherry tomatoes, or lighten the sauce with Greek yogurt. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness.
